Additions and Volunteers
ADDition volunteers are active at Bay Meadows.
Every year since the school opened, we have earned the ADDitions Golden School Award for Outstanding Service. Parents and community members are invited to volunteer their time and talents at our school. Please note, because of liability, children not enrolled at Bay Meadows are not allowed to be in classrooms while parents volunteer with students.
Our new Additions coordinators, Amy Joffe and Nancy Pardo, would love to help you get involved. Our doors are always open to welcome parent/community involvement.
School volunteers are extra-special people who are committed to making schools the best they can be. We are always looking for interested parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who can provide a few hours of community service to our students. There are many opportunities to peak your interest. You might want to join us in the media center helping our students choose their next favorite author.
Perhaps your skills in a foreign language can help a student struggle to learn your native tongue. We are always looking for professionals to spend the day with us on Teach-In in November where you can spread the word about your career and what our students need to be doing now to be marketable in the future.
