Welcome to Bay Meadows Elementary School where we are “Celebrating 35 Years of Koala-ty Success”.

I am honored to be the principal of this amazing school and proud of the work done daily by our students, teachers, staff and volunteers. Working together, we continue the rich history of family and community involvement contributing to our academic success. Bay Meadows is identified as an A school by the Florida Department of Education. Our team is dedicated to increasing the academic achievement and success for all students through the use of project-based learning and STEAM integration.

As a STEAM Career Academy, teachers integrate cross curricular learning opportunities through the exploration of STEAM careers (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics),  STEAM project-based learning through thematic units of study and quarterly STEAM challenges provide engaging opportunities for our students.  Students are being prepared for 21st Century careers and the necessary skills of problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration.  In addition to art integration in their classroom, students experience art, music, dance and traditional physical education each week.  The work learned is highlighted through the STEAM Arts Showcase night for each grade level held throughout the year.

I appreciate you visiting our website.  The website along with the Student Body Canvas Course for currently enrolled students will provide families with the information and resources needed for a successful year. Please visit the website and the Student Body Canvas Course (beginning August 11th) frequently for updates.  You can enjoy the WBME News, a student run news broadcast, which is posted to the canvas course daily.  Parent Square is used for two-way messaging with a daily digest sent to your email account.  Follow us on Facebook at the Bay  Meadows official page or the Bay Meadows PTA page. We welcome volunteers and your  involvement with the PTA and School Advisory Council (SAC).  To be a part of our school community and support students and teachers throughout the year, please register as an ADDitions volunteer.
