Welcome to Bay Meadows Elementary!

Welcome to Bay Meadows Elementary, where this year we are Cooking Up Koala-ty Success!

It is my privilege to welcome you to another exciting year at Bay Meadows Elementary. Whether you are a returning Koala family or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school community.

At Bay Meadows, we know that success doesn't happen by chance—it is created through the right ingredients: dedicated educators, supportive families, engaged students, and meaningful learning experiences. Together, we are committed to providing every child with a safe, nurturing, and innovative environment where they are inspired to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am incredibly proud that Bay Meadows Elementary continues to be recognized as an "A" rated school by the Florida Department of Education. This distinction reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, families, and community partners, all working together to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.

As an OCPS STEAM Career Academy, we believe learning should be engaging, purposeful, and connected to the world around us. Our students participate in hands-on, project-based learning experiences that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) while developing the critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills needed for future success. Students also enjoy weekly instruction in art, music, dance, and physical education, with opportunities to showcase their talents throughout the year during our STEAM Arts Showcase events.

Our 2026–2027 theme, "Cooking Up Koala-ty Success!", reminds us that every student brings unique talents and strengths to our school family. Each lesson learned, each challenge overcome and each success celebrated adds another ingredient to the recipe that makes Bay Meadows such a special place. Together, we will continue serving excellence, building character, and creating opportunities that prepare our students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Beginning August 11, currently enrolled families can also access the Student Body Canvas Course, where you'll find resources, announcements, and our daily student-produced WBME News broadcast.
