SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL
Our School Advisory Council (SAC) is responsible for:
- Assisting in the assessment of needs, as well as establishing priorities, defining goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of our school improvement plan.
- Monitoring the progress and implementation of our 2023-2024 school improvement plan.
- Developing a school improvement plan for 2024-2025.
- Approving the expenditure of school improvement funds.
- Collecting and analyzing information about the community and the school, and receiving public input regarding needs (Needs Assessment) of the school.
The members on our council represent a cross-section of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by our school. Parents of our school community elect members of our School Advisory Council each fall. Our School Advisory Council meets once a month, about an hour. Participation of all council members at each meeting is vital. Business is conducted by our council members but all are welcome to attend.
SAC will meet on the following dates at 4:00 PM in the Media Center for 2024-2025:
